Floristry Workshop Düsseldorf
Learning floristry is different from buying a bouquet. In our workshops we show the craft tricks we use daily — spiral binding, proper stem cutting, composition from main flower + secondary + greenery. You bind yourself, take your bouquet home.
Private workshops: 2–8 people, 2.5–3 hours, all materials provided. Bring yourselves and good cheer. We have aprons, knives and everything else.
Theme workshops: seasonal bouquets (e.g. 'spring bouquet in April', 'peony bouquet in May', 'autumn bouquet in October'), Advent wreath binding, dried bouquets, table floristry for weddings/events.
Corporate workshops: team events for 6–20 people. We can bring material and tools to you (office, event location, garden). Popular as a gift for employees or summer event.
Bachelorette and birthdays: bachelorette parties and 30/40-birthdays are a growing request. A peony workshop for 8 women is our most booked format.
Level: no prior knowledge needed. We assume you've never bound a bouquet — the first 20 minutes are pure instruction, then you bind.
Take away: your self-bound bouquet (about 30–40 stems), care instructions and florist knowledge you can use for every future bouquet.
Frequently asked
- How long does a workshop last?
- 2.5–3 hours. First 30 minutes instruction and material walk-through, then 1.5 hours binding, then a photo/drink phase with finished bouquet.
- Do I need to bring anything?
- Just a vase for transporting your bouquet home would help — otherwise we give water tubes for the stems. Aprons, tools, materials all provided.
- Do I get a certificate?
- On request yes — a small participation certificate. For serious floristry training, look at a proper florist apprenticeship — our workshops are hobby and private format.
- How do I book?
- Via the contact form or by phone at the shop. We arrange date, theme and number of participants. Payment in advance or on the workshop day.
