Funeral Arrangement Service

A funeral arrangement has to suit the person it remembers — and be there on time when the service begins. We take the organisation off your hands: you tell us form, colour, size and the ribbon text, we craft with fresh A1-grade flowers and deliver straight to the funeral hall or graveside. In a hard time, this should be one worry fewer.

Made-to-measure funeral arrangement with ribbon from Düsseldorf

How it works: you come into the shop, call, or write via the contact form. We discuss the essentials calmly — the date and time of the service, the location (funeral hall, cemetery chapel or directly at the graveside), your relationship to the deceased and your idea of mood and colour. From these cornerstones we design.

Made to measure means truly made to measure: you choose the form (classic elongated arrangement, round or oval sympathy bowl, one-sided for standing or bound all-around), the colour world (muted and quiet in white and green, warm in cream and apricot, or bold to suit the person’s taste), the size and of course the mourning ribbon with individual text such as „In stiller Trauer“ or a personal farewell message.

We work with what arrived fresh from the Veiling Rhein-Maas auction that day — A1 quality, no wholesale-market mediocrity. For a particular favourite flower of the deceased (peonies, a specific rose variety or sunflowers depending on the season) we source on order, for which we need 1–2 days’ lead.

Timing is the decisive thing in funeral floristry. Once the date of the service is fixed, we plan backwards: we deliver so that the arrangement stands fresh and placed before the mourners arrive. Two to three days’ lead is ideal — but we know a bereavement often has to move faster. Talk to us; we set up short-notice orders whenever it is possible.

Delivery and handover within Düsseldorf and the closer surroundings we manage straight to the funeral hall, chapel or graveside — coordinated with you or the funeral home. On request we liaise directly with the undertaker so you need not worry about a thing. Alternatively you can collect the arrangement yourself at the shop in Pempelfort.

Personal consultation is always free and walk-in. With funeral floristry in particular we take the time you need — whether you know exactly what fits or want to think together about what does the person justice.

Frequently asked

How much lead time do you need for a funeral arrangement?
Two to three days are ideal, then we can also source special varieties on purpose. A bereavement often moves faster — we set up short-notice orders whenever it is possible, just talk to us directly.
Do you deliver straight to the service or graveside?
Yes. We deliver within Düsseldorf and the closer surroundings on time to the funeral hall, cemetery chapel or graveside and place the arrangement on request. If you wish, we coordinate directly with the funeral home.
Can I decide the colour and ribbon text myself?
Absolutely. Form, colour world, size and the text on the mourning ribbon are entirely up to you — from quiet white and green to bold to suit the person. The ribbon with individual text is included in the price.
Should I choose an arrangement or a wreath?
That depends on the occasion and relationship. An arrangement stands on or beside the coffin, a wreath is the more traditional, often larger gesture. We are glad to advise — our guide on funeral arrangement vs. wreath explains the differences in detail.
