Grave Care Subscription
Not everyone can visit the grave regularly. Work, distance, age — the reasons are understandable, yet the guilt remains. With our grave care subscription we take over the recurring care: watering, planting and tidying — reliably, without you having to remember each time.
How it works: you come into the shop, call or message via the contact form. We discuss which grave is involved — cemetery, location, size and its current condition. For larger or more distant graves we look at it beforehand so the effort and price are honest.
Scope: the subscription covers regular watering in the warm season, removing spent flowers and weeds, keeping the headstone and border clean, and the seasonal change of planting. Spring, summer, autumn and winter each have their own plants — we swap them at the right time so the grave looks cared for all year round.
Rhythm and timing: how often we come depends on the grave and the season. In high summer we water more often; in winter a tidy winter arrangement with occasional checks is enough. We agree the schedule with you — from a light basic package to intensive full care. You don't need to be on site or coordinate anything.
Planting and style: you tell us what you like — simple and evergreen, colourful and lush, or classic with seasonal changing planting. We work with robust, cemetery-suitable plants that cope with the location and on-site care. On request we add a special arrangement or bowl for All Saints' Day, the day of passing or birthdays.
Freshness and quality: our plants and cut flowers come fresh from the Veiling Rhein-Maas, where we source daily ourselves — A1 quality instead of mass goods. You notice it in how long the planting lasts and how the grave looks over the weeks. On request we send you a short photo after each visit so you can see how it currently looks.

- How quickly can the subscription start?
- After a short consultation it usually starts within a few days. For a grave we view beforehand we need a little more lead time to assess the effort properly.
- Which cemeteries do you cover?
- Primarily cemeteries in Düsseldorf and the closer surroundings of Pempelfort. If the grave is further away, ask us anyway — we'll say honestly whether we can tend it regularly.
- What does it cost and can I cancel anytime?
- Basic care starts at around €35 per month, seasonal planting is added per change. We name the exact price transparently after a short consultation. The subscription is flexibly cancellable — no long commitments.
- Will I know whether the grave is actually being cared for?
- On request we send a short photo after each visit via WhatsApp or email. That way you can see from afar that the grave looks cared for — especially when you can't visit it yourself for a long time.
