Grave Flowers Golzheim / Nordfriedhof
The Nordfriedhof lies north of us in the Derendorf district, right on the edge of Golzheim and Unterrath — at nearly 70 hectares the largest cemetery in Düsseldorf. From our shop in Pempelfort it is only minutes away. If you need grave flowers, an arrangement, a wreath or seasonal planting for a grave there, we craft it with the calm and care a farewell deserves.
How it works: you come into the shop, call, or write via the contact form. We discuss calmly what it is about — burial, memorial service or grave care — plus style, colours, size and budget. For a burial at the Nordfriedhof we need the date and the exact location (chapel, grave field) so everything is ready in time. For ongoing grave care, a photo of the grave is often enough to agree on dimensions and planting.
Scope: we make funeral arrangements and wreaths for the memorial service, casket and urn decoration, individual mourning bouquets, as well as seasonal planting of the grave throughout the year — spring, summer, autumn and winter-proof cover. Lead time and timing: for a memorial service, ideally allow two to three working days' lead — that lets us source special varieties through the Veiling Rhein-Maas auction. If it has to be faster, just tell us openly; much can be solved at short notice, and for very urgent cases we bind whatever is fresh and beautiful that day. Around All Saints' Day and in Advent, demand at the Nordfriedhof is high — ordering early means the calmer choice.
Style and options: classic and quiet in white and green, colourful and lively, or plain and modern — we follow the person being remembered. For grave planting we mind the position of the grave (sun, shade; the tree stock at the Nordfriedhof is old and dense) and choose plants that truly thrive there, not only ones that look good on planting day.
Handover and delivery to the cemetery: the main entrance is at the Danziger Straße / Johannstraße junction; the Johannstraße tram stop is just a few minutes' walk away, and the U78 / U79 metro lines stop at Theodor-Heuss-Brücke. You can collect the finished grave flowers from us — the way from Pempelfort to the Nordfriedhof is short. For burials we deliver arrangements and wreaths directly to the chapel by arrangement; give us the date and hall, and everything is there in good time.

- A grave arrangement starts at around €45, a funeral wreath at about €90, higher depending on size and varieties. We are transparent and work to your budget — just tell us your range and we make the most of it.
