Grave Flowers Heerdt Cemetery
Heerdt cemetery on Schiessstraße is the only cemetery in left-bank Düsseldorf — around 14 hectares between old oaks and the Albertussee lake. From our shop in Pempelfort it means crossing the Rhine. We craft arrangements, wreaths and grave planting with A1 stock from the Veiling Rhein-Maas and bring them to the grave or to the funeral service in the chapel.

How it works: you come into the shop, call, or write via the contact form. We discuss the occasion (burial, All Saints’, anniversary, ongoing grave care), the grave size (single, double or urn grave), a colour and style direction and the budget. For a funeral service we need the date, time and whether delivery goes to the chapel or directly to the grave.
Scope: we craft funeral arrangements and casket flowers, wreaths in any size, urn flowers and seasonal grave planting. On request a personalised mourning ribbon with text is added. Whether classic and restrained in white and green or colourful and personal — we shape the flowers to suit the person and the family.
Lead time and timing: for a burial we ideally plan two to three working days’ lead so we can source deliberately and bind calmly. Shorter notice is often possible too — just ask. Around All Saints’ and Totensonntag demand is high; in those weeks early ordering pays off especially.
Delivery across the Rhine: Heerdt is on the left bank. From Pempelfort we drive across the Rhine bridges — the route is honestly longer than to the cemeteries on our side of the river, so we agree the delivery slot and a small travel share transparently with you in advance. We place the arrangement at the chapel at the agreed time or bring planting and flowers directly to the grave if you tell us its location.
Grave planting through the year: seasonal planting changes with the seasons — spring bloomers, summer long-flowering plants, autumn heather and winter-hardy cover. We plant once per season or advise what thrives best for the grave’s position (sunny, or shaded under the old trees). You’ll find deeper care guides in our guides section.
From practice: we source daily at the Veiling Rhein-Maas — that means freshness instead of stored stock, especially for funeral flowers that often stand at the grave for several days. Personal consultation is always free and walk-in; in a time of mourning we take the time you need.
