Grave Flowers Nordfriedhof Düsseldorf

The Nordfriedhof on Danziger Straße is, at almost 70 hectares, the largest cemetery in Düsseldorf — only a few minutes north of our shop in Pempelfort. We bind grave arrangements, wreaths and seasonal planting, hand them to you in the shop or bring them straight to the grave. For a funeral, for All Saints' Day or simply because the grave should look cared-for again.

Grave arrangement for the Nordfriedhof Düsseldorf

How it works: you come into the shop (Duisburger Str. 55), call or write via the contact form. We discuss the occasion — recent loss, All Saints' Day, the deceased's birthday or anniversary, regular grave care — and whether you want an arrangement, a wreath or planting. If you know the grave's location (field and grave number, or simply ‚near the chapel' or ‚on the Millionenhügel'), we plan the handover accordingly.

Scope: grave arrangements in every size, bound funeral wreaths, planting bowls and full seasonal grave planting. For a classic coffin or urn grave, for the lawn graves where decoration may only be placed at central points, or for the historic grave fields on the listed hill around the chapel. Tell us what stands at the grave and we adapt form and dimensions.

Delivery and handover: the Nordfriedhof sits in the northwest of Derendorf, directly north of Pempelfort — short distances for us. You can collect the finished decoration in the shop, or we deliver to one of the six entrances or the chapel where you receive it. Placing it directly at the grave we coordinate on request. The cemetery has been open around the clock since 2003, which keeps timing relaxed.

Lead time and timing: a standard arrangement we often bind the same or next day. For a funeral with a service we follow your schedule and deliver to the chapel on time. Around All Saints' Day on 1 November — when the lime alley at the main entrance, the chapel and selected gravestones are lit in colour — demand is high; here we ask for 2 to 3 days' lead so we can source varieties and colours specifically.

Style and practice: we work with what arrives fresh from the Veiling Rhein-Maas — A1 quality, daily sourcing. You choose between quiet and classic (white and cream tones, plenty of green) or colourful and lively. We advise honestly on what lasts in the season and suits the grave. Personal consultation is always free and walk-in.

Frequently asked

Do you deliver the grave decoration directly to the grave at the Nordfriedhof?
We deliver to one of the six entrances or to the chapel where you receive the decoration — the most reliable route on the almost 70-hectare site. Placing it directly at the grave we coordinate on request if you give us the field and grave number.
How much lead time do you need — especially for All Saints' Day?
A single arrangement we often bind the same or next day. For a funeral we follow the date of the service. Around All Saints' Day on 1 November we ask for 2 to 3 days' lead, because demand is high and we source varieties specifically.
What does a grave arrangement for the Nordfriedhof cost?
A small grave arrangement starts around €35, a larger one is €55 to €90, a bound funeral wreath from €90. Seasonal grave planting depends on grave size and begins around €60. We are transparent and advise what lasts best for the season.
Can I have the grave decorated regularly without coming each time myself?
Yes. Many customers have the grave replanted by season or freshly decorated for fixed occasions — birthday, anniversary of death, All Saints'. Get in touch and we agree on a rhythm that suits you.
