Düsseltal — locally often simply called „Zoo“ or the „Zoo quarter“ — is one of Düsseldorf's most well-kept and sought-after residential quarters. Late-19th-century buildings, quiet avenues and the greenery around the Zoopark shape the picture. Our bouquets here land in elegant period flats, with families around Schillerplatz and in the law firms and practices along Rethelstraße. Stylistically the clientele leans classic and refined.
Düsseltal owes its „Zoo quarter“ nickname to the zoological garden that stood here from 1876 until its destruction in the war in 1943 — what remains is the Zoopark as the quarter's green lung. Distinctive addresses include Rethelstraße as a lively shopping and café street, the Achenbachstraße, the broad Brehmstraße with its ice rink, and the freshly redesigned Schillerplatz. We deliver to all of these.
Typical occasions here are more classic than in neighbouring Flingern: birthdays and milestone anniversaries, bouquets for practice and law-firm openings on Rethelstraße, host gifts for invitations in the period flats, and regular funeral flowers for burials at the nearby Nordfriedhof in Derendorf.
We deliver weekdays and Saturdays. Düsseltal lies east of our shop — separated only by Flingern or Derendorf — and is comfortably within our delivery area. Order by around 12:00 and same-day delivery is usually no problem.
The rather classic-elegant clientele suits well-bound bouquets with structure: roses, ranunculus, peonies in season, combined with eucalyptus instead of baby's breath. For the elegant period flats we recommend somewhat fuller, high-quality bouquets in A1 quality from the Veiling Rhein-Maas.
Good connection to our Pempelfort shop: Düsseltal lies to the east, around 2 to 3 km away, just over 10 to 15 minutes by bike, roughly 12 to 15 minutes by tram (line 706 or 709). Short distances mean fresh flowers without a long haul.
