Flowers in Rath

Rath is often called an „invention of the railway“ — the district grew up around the S-Bahn station on Westfalenstraße and was incorporated into Düsseldorf in 1909 at its own request. We deliver to both halves: the densely built residential quarter around Rather Markt, Rather Kirchplatz and Theodorstraße, and the green areas towards the Aaper Wald. With the Rather Carré on Westfalenstraße, a new quarter has grown on the former Mannesmann/Vallourec site.

Typical occasions here are down-to-earth and warm: birthdays and anniversaries in the apartment blocks, get-well bouquets, funeral floristry for burials, and quieter, more classic arrangements for the families in the villa areas at the forest edge. Rath is no showcase district — what counts here is that the flowers last and are honestly bound.

We deliver on weekdays and Saturdays. Important: Rath lies in the north-east of Düsseldorf and is a fair distance from our shop in Pempelfort — same-day is not always guaranteed here. For orders by 12:00 we try for same-day delivery, but on a full route we'd rather firmly schedule the next working day. Funeral deliveries we arrange with you directly by appointment.

Stylistically both suit Rath: for the residential streets, classic seasonal bouquets that stay fresh for long (our A1 stock from the Veiling Rhein-Maas); for the houses by the Aaper Wald, more opulent, natural arrangements with a forest-look green — eucalyptus, berry branches, double tulips.

Honest connection from our shop in Pempelfort (Duisburger Str. 55): Rath lies around 6 to 7 km to the north-east, roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car depending on traffic. By public transport you reach Rath via the S6 S-Bahn (Cologne–Essen) to Düsseldorf-Rath or Rath Mitte, via tram line 701 and the U71 light-rail line; the U72 stops nearby at Rather Waldstadion. Because of the distance we like to bundle Rath deliveries, so sometimes we ask for a little lead time.
