Flowers in Wersten

Wersten has a clear centre: the Kölner Landstraße runs as the main axis from northwest to southeast through the district, with most shops between Werstener Dorfstraße and Ickerswarder Straße. Around it are quiet residential areas — from the historic Stahlhaussiedlung and Burgenlandweg to the residential streets at the southern end of Siegburger Straße, where the striking Franz-von-Sales church stands on the edge of the Südpark. This Südpark — the 1987 federal garden show grounds — lies directly to the northwest and belongs to the districts of Oberbilk and Wersten.

Typical occasions here are less trendy and all the warmer: milestone birthdays, golden weddings, confirmations and communions, get-well bouquets and funeral flowers. Families and regulars often order by phone or arrive with concrete wishes — which we happily realise in a classic, high-quality style.

We deliver on weekdays and Saturdays. However, Wersten lies roughly 6 to 7 km from our shop in Pempelfort — right across the city to the south. Same-day is therefore not guaranteed here: please order a day in advance for Wersten where possible, so we can plan the route reliably. We are glad to arrange short-notice deliveries by phone.

By public transport, Wersten is reached via tram line 709 (stops Werstener Dorfstraße and Ickerswarder Straße) and bus lines such as the 723. We also bring funeral flowers to Friedhof Eller on Werstener Feld, on the border between Wersten and Eller — please give the grave or chapel when ordering.
