- Which occasions suit marguerites?
- Children's birthdays, bachelorettes, summer farm-style weddings, meadow bouquets. Not for formal occasions (too simple for hotel receptions).
- How long do marguerites last in a vase?
- With a fresh angled cut, clean water and a cool spot, marguerites last roughly 5 to 8 days. Changing the water every two days and stripping the lower leaves noticeably extends their vase life.
- Are marguerites toxic to cats and dogs?
- Yes, mildly. Marguerites can cause gastrointestinal upset in cats and dogs, with vomiting, diarrhoea and salivation. They are not severely toxic like lilies, but the vase should still be kept away from curious pets.
