Boutonnière & Corsage Service
Boutonnières and buttonholes are the small details that hold a wedding together. Groom, groomsmen and fathers wear a piece of the bridal bouquet on the lapel — same blooms, same palette. We bind them durable, light and so they look fresh until the last dance.

How it works: you come into the shop or get in touch via the contact form. We clarify how many boutonnières you need (groom, groomsmen, fathers, sometimes brothers or grandfathers) and which corsages go with them — for the bride's mother or the maid of honour, for instance. We note the blooms and colours from your bridal bouquet so everything matches.
Scope: the groom's boutonnière is usually bound a touch more prominently — a lead bloom from the bouquet, a little greenery, some accents. The groomsmen's and fathers' boutonnières we keep more understated and consistent with one another. Corsages we bind as a small pin-on bouquet with magnet or pin fastening, or as a wristlet, as preferred. Each piece gets a clean stem wrap so nothing rubs off on clothing.
Lead time and timing: for weddings it's best to order two to three weeks ahead so we can source the right varieties through the Veiling Rhein-Maas auction. Binding happens fresh the day before or the morning of the wedding — boutonnières are small and dry out faster than a bouquet, so we deliberately work close to the date. We hand them over chilled and ready to pin.
Style and options: classic with a single rose, wild and natural with grasses and berries, modern reduced to one bloom — we follow the style of your bridal bouquet. On request we add ribbons, eucalyptus or small colour accents that match the tie or suit. Every boutonnière is bound individually by hand.
Practicalities and handover: we pack the finished boutonnières and corsages sorted and labelled in a flat box — so on the wedding morning everyone knows which piece is whose. Pins or magnets are included. You collect the box in the shop; for larger wedding floristry in the Düsseldorf area we arrange delivery individually.
Frequently asked
- How much lead time do the boutonnières need?
- Two to three weeks ahead for the order, so we can source the right varieties through the Veiling. They're bound fresh the day before or the morning of the wedding, because small boutonnières dry out faster than a bouquet.
- How do the boutonnières match the bridal bouquet?
- If we bind your bridal bouquet, we use the same lead blooms and colours for the boutonnières and corsages. If the bouquet comes from elsewhere, a photo and a few notes on the palette are enough for us.
- What does a boutonnière cost and is there a quantity discount?
- A simple boutonnière starts at €6, the slightly fuller groom's piece from €12, corsages from €18. For larger wedding parties we're happy to work out a quantity price — just ask.
- How do I get the boutonnières on the wedding day?
- You collect them sorted and labelled in a flat box from the shop, with pins or magnets included. That way everyone knows which piece is whose in the morning. For larger wedding floristry in the Düsseldorf area we arrange delivery individually.
