Funeral Floristry Consultation
A bereavement leaves little time and many open questions — especially around choosing flowers. Our consultation takes that weight off you: we listen, sort out what is actually needed, and handle the coordination with the funeral home. Calmly, without pressure and free of charge. You need to prepare nothing but what matters to you.

How it works: you come into the shop, call or message via the contact form. We sit down with you and calmly work through the key points — who has passed, your relationship to them, the type of service (burial or cremation, chapel, cemetery), the desired style and budget. From these points we work out together what makes sense.
What we help you sort out: which arrangement fits which occasion — wreath, funeral arrangement, casket cover, urn decoration or a loose mourning bouquet to lay down. We explain the differences without burdening you with jargon, and tell you honestly what you need and what you don't. For the full detail we are happy to point you to our guide.
Coordination with the funeral home: often the service is already set when you come to us. We arrange the delivery time, location and handover directly with the funeral home or cemetery administration, so the flowers arrive on time and in the right place. You don't have to mediate between everyone involved — we take that on.
Ribbon texts: the words on a mourning ribbon are hard for many people. We help with the wording — from a simple „In stiller Trauer“ to personal lines — and pay attention to form, salutation and a dignified script. If you're unsure, we offer examples and suggestions.
Lead time and timing: two to three days' notice is ideal, so we can source the right varieties from the Veiling Rhein-Maas auction and bind the arrangement with care. If it needs to be quicker, we will also find a dignified solution at short notice — we know the timing of a bereavement cannot be planned.
The consultation itself is always free and walk-in. It commits you to nothing. Costs only arise once you decide on an arrangement — and we discuss those openly and transparently beforehand.
Frequently asked
- How much lead time do you need for a funeral arrangement?
- Two to three days is ideal so we can source the right varieties. But we know a bereavement cannot be planned — reach out at short notice too, and we will find a dignified solution.
- Do you handle the coordination with the funeral home?
- Yes. We arrange the delivery time, location and handover directly with the funeral home or cemetery administration, so the flowers are on time and in the right place. You don't have to mediate between the parties involved.
- What does the consultation and a suitable arrangement cost?
- The consultation is always free and non-binding. Costs only arise when you choose an arrangement — mourning bouquets start at €35, wreaths and arrangements at around €90. We discuss the price range openly in advance, so there are no surprises.
- Do you also help with the wording of the ribbon text?
- Gladly. Many don't know what to write — we offer examples, pay attention to salutation and form, and find the right words with you, from simple to personal. You'll also find a collection of templates in our guide on mourning ribbons.
