Wedding Arch & Ceremony Decoration

The arch is the point every camera and every gaze is aimed at on your day. We plan, bind and build it for you — matched to venue, season and your style. From understated asymmetry to a lush full arch, indoors or out.

Floral wedding arch for a free ceremony

How it works: you come into the shop or message us via the contact form. We discuss date, venue, style (classic / wild-natural / modern-minimalist), palette and budget. Where it helps, we look at photos or a floor plan of the ceremony site so the arch suits its surroundings and the light.

Scope: we create the actual floral decoration on the arch (the frame is usually provided by the venue or a rental — alternatively we arrange one). On request, matching elements for the whole ceremony follow: chair or bench decoration along the aisle, an arrangement for the ceremony table, floor pieces and small accents that tie arch and table decor into one picture.

Setup and teardown on site: for the free ceremony we come to the venue, mount the floral decoration on the arch and dress the ceremony area — in good time before the guests arrive. On request we collect the frame and vases again after the celebration so you don’t have to think about anything.

Weatherproof varieties for outdoors: for open-air ceremonies we deliberately choose robust, heat- and wind-tolerant flowers and greenery — eucalyptus, sturdy filler greens, strong summer perennials instead of delicate spring varieties. Where needed we work with water systems so the arch still looks fresh after hours in the sun.

Practice and sourcing: we buy all flowers fresh at the Veiling Rhein-Maas in A1 quality — for larger arches and rare varieties we order specifically with a few days’ lead. We believe in love over mass: better an arch that fits you than an off-the-shelf catalogue motif.

Going deeper: which flowers suit a wedding arch and how a coherent wedding concept comes together is covered in our guides — linked below. This page is about the booking and the process.

Frequently asked

How much lead time do you need for a wedding arch?
For floral wedding planning, more lead time is always better — ideally several weeks to months, especially in the high season from May to September. That secures the date and lets us order rare varieties at the Veiling. We’re happy to check short-notice requests depending on capacity.
Do you bring the arch frame or just the flowers?
As a rule we create the floral decoration on a frame provided by the venue or a rental. If you don’t have one, we arrange a suitable frame or advise on shape and material. We clarify this in the planning meeting so everything fits together on the day.
Will the arch survive a whole day outdoors in the sun?
For that we choose weatherproof, heat-tolerant varieties and use water systems on the frame where needed. We also set up as late as sensible so the arch peaks for the ceremony. Delicate favourite flowers then go in more sheltered spots.
Do you also handle setup, collection and the rest of the ceremony decor?
Yes. We build the arch on site, dress the aisle and ceremony table on request, and collect the frame and vases again after the celebration. That gives you a coherent picture and nothing to worry about on the day. We define the exact scope together.
